It is very generous of you to share your knowledge and experience in these videos. I feel I am just the point in my painting journey to really soak in this type of lesson. I would love to see you perform the paint strokes and techniques you describe so eloquently. Your discussion of composition was appreciated and is so often neglected. It is interesting to see just how much thought you put into your paintings. There are so many levels to painting, it's a wonder anybody masters it, yet that fact is what makes it so compelling too, don't you think?

Ms. Glencowe, I was lucky to purchase your Mini Masterpiece from The New Britain Museum of Amercan Art's Spring Gala. When it was time to buy the peces it was like a sale in Filene's Basement! I was the first one to get to your piece. Other people had wanted it and let me know. One woman asked what I would have done if she tried to fight me for it, but fortunately it did not come to that. I am verry pleased to have acquired that beautiful painting.

Being a FB fan of Wadsworth Atheneum, I saw your post re Isolation coating. As a photographic imagemaker, I have read that digital photo prints may require a coating to insure ink stability.
Another tenuous link to you, a distant relative, Mortimer Smith, was a minor figure in the Hudson River School.
